These evergreen terrestrial or epiphytic ferns have short rhizomes and are usually wiry spreading runners. Nephrolepis Exaltata or green fern is considered as being a serious invasive plant, forming dense monocultures. They grow in lovely arching rosette shaped and spread by runners.
